The Department of Psychology of the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens operates since the academic year 2015-2016 the newly established Postgraduate Program entitled "Clinical Psychology"
The purpose of the MSc is the training and specialization of psychologists in "Clinical Psychology". Clinical Psychology is an applied branch of psychology that concerns the mental health and psychopathology of individuals and groups. In particular, it deals with the study of the psychological functioning of the individual as well as the treatment of psychological dysfunctions and disorders. The subject of Clinical Psychology is the daily functioning of the individual (school adaptation and achievement, family and interpersonal relationships, work function and achievement).
The MSc in Clinical Psychology awards a Postgraduate Diploma (MSc) in "Clinical Psychology".
